Technical & Volunteer Support
Liberty University, Virginia Technical Institute, and other local educational institutions provide premier opportunities for mutually beneficial technical support and volunteer assistance.
Past collaboration with the schools of behavioral science, medicine, business, religion, and center for chaplaincy at Liberty University have provided a very positive shared experience with students and faculty. We anticipate that this relationship will continue to grow as we also initiate similar relationships with other industry and academic entities.
Potential Federal & State Partnerships
President Trump's recent executive order for veteran suicide prevention accommodates faith-based programs which makes this an ideal time to integrate best practices and partner with federal agencies:
Department of Veterans Affairs
Department of Housing and Urban Development
Department of Health and Human Services
Department of Agriculture
State of Virginia and Campbell County
PRIVATE SECTOR SOLUTIONS
VETERANS ADMINISTRATION: 30%
VA only touches roughly 30% of the veteran demographic
Working to improve coverage of veterans
Expansion of capabilities is limited, especially training and deploying mental health professionals.
VA is placing great emphasis on faith-based solutions
PRIVATE SECTOR: 70%
Critical to full coverage and lasting solutions
Many private organizations are doing great work, but the need is even greater
The full power of faith-based solutions is not being fully leveraged
Today, approximately 22 veterans will lose hope and take their own lives.
Donate today to the National Center for Healthy Veterans and make an immediate impact so we can return healthy veterans to America.
